  • Caesar, pardon Metellus.
  • No, "But I am constant as the Northern Star, of whose true fixed and resting quality there is no fellow in firmament"(3.1.60-62).
  • Act 3 scene 1
  • It is true that I loved Caesar. But I will not try to harm you for what you did.
  • Act 3 scene 1
  • "O pardon me, thou bleeding piece of earth, that i am gentle with these butchers!"(3.1.254-255)
  • I will get my revenge on them.
  • Brutus asks Caesar to pardon Metellus but Caesar says no. Conspirators attack Caesar.
  • Act 3 scene 2
  • Caesar was ambitious and a threat. I slew him for the good of Rome.
  • Antony will give a speech for the funeral of Caesar.
  • Antony enters and makes peace with the conspirators.
  • Act 3 scene 2
  • Brutus is a traitor and his word means nothing. Caesar wasn't ambitious.
  • Let's kill Brutus and the other killers!
  • Conspirators leave and Antony grieves over the death of Caesar. He wants revenge.

  • Brutus gives a speech to the plebeians after the killing of Caesar.
  • Brutus allows Antony to give a speech about Caesar and leaves. Antony cause plebeians to form a mob and try to kill conspirators.
  • Cinna the poet walks down to Caesar's funeral. Plebeians think he is Cinna the conspirator and kill him.
  • No! I am Cinna the poet!
  • He's Cinna the conspirator. Kill him!
  • Kill him anyway!
