Storyboard Text

  • “Identifying the signs isn’t enough however to prevent bullying. In order to do that, you have to be able to confront both the victim and the bully. This may seem like an impossible task when neither will admit to anything, but it can actually be very simple if you can get one of them to admit to what’s been happening.”
  • “Take the time to identify the situation and the possible causes of the fight or aggression”
  • in the situation of a fight, separation is key, and identifying the victim and bully is normally fairly easy, since the bully normally starts it.”
  • “HEY! Whats going on here!?”
  • “Why did you throw his books on the ground? Are you bullying him?”
  • “No, he bumped into me”
  • “The victims of bullying will often lie about their situation, even when confronted directly, so you should take their words with a grain of salt.”
  • “ is that true?”
  • “ yes...:”
  • “Well, just in case, why don’t the two of you come with me?”
  • “Remember, as the adult in the situation, it’s your responsibility to look for, prevent, and stop bullying of any form and not to be a bystander. If we all do this, bullying will become a thing of the past.”
  • The End
