Storyboard Text

  • Our Therapeutic Cerebral Palsy Toy
  • It was made by myself, Jackson M., Ethan S., and Brandon M.
  • It consisted of a large tree with three holes in the leaves of the tree. Six monkeys would hang upon this tree, and you would place the monkeys inside the holes.
  • The intent of creating this toy was to provide a therapeutic, colorful plaything for children with cerebral palsy to use to build up the ability to move their wrists, arms, and joints more easily.
  • It was made out of cardboard, hot glue, and colored paper.
  • The tree had a 5x5x.5 inch base, and was 12 inches tall in total.
  • In conclusion, our project was a success.
  • While we did find difficulty in creating monkeys and creating a functional hinge, our toy fit the requirements and could help children with CP.
