The british army shot at a mob of colonists when being attacked by them. Five people were killed and this all happened at King Street.
The Townshend Act (1767)
After the French and Indian war, Britain got a lot of land, not a little, a lot! The act said that settlers couldn't settle in the land and the land was handed to the Indians on a silver plater. Of course, they said "eff you" and settled.
Tea Act & Boston Tea Party (1773)
So this one is very basic, it's just a taxing of something not worth putting a tax on. This act had people pay for paper things from the British such as legal documents and mail.
The Intolerable Acts (1774)
This act was an act from the British stating that a tax was going to be put on some items. The papers stating this probably said, "hey we're rich but we're going to make you pay for stuff cuz we're cheap good luck:)." Some of the items taxed included glass, paint, oil, lead, paper, and tea.
People were mad that they had to pay tax without their consent so the "if they were around today, they'de be considered a terrorist group/organization." threw a bunch of tea overboard when hijacking 3 ships and all the fish went, "Mmm, yes, jolly good show."
So basically the British got salty and put colonists in the time out corner which was called Intolerable acts because colonists called it "intolerable." There were 5 laws that passed in this act.
