Storyboard Text

  • Romeo's friend comes to mantua to tell him the news of Juliet's death. Romeo sends for horses to get to Verona then buys a poison so he can go be dead with Juliet.
  • Romeo ~ "Come, cordial and not poison, go with me To Juliet's grave, for there must I use thee." lines 90-91 pg 217
  • Through a turn of unfortunate events Friar John was unable to get the letter from Friar Lawrence to Romeo. Friar Lawrence frantically goes to Juliet's tomb as to find her awakening.
  • Friar Lawrence ~ "Now must I to the monument alone. Within this three hours will fair Juliet wake." lines 24-25 pg 219
  • When Romeo arrives at Juliet's tomb he fights and kills a grieving Paris then enters Juliet's tomb to express his love for Juliet by killing himself. The Friar goes to see Juliet waking to a dead Romeo then he gets sp00ked and runs away. Juliet kills herself upon seeing a dead Romeo and when the two families find them dead and then Friar tells them what happened the two families decide to end their hostilities.
  • Romeo ~ "Ah, dear Juliet, Why art thou yet so fair? Shall I believe That unsubstantial death is amorous." lines 101-103 pg 227
