Harold is a round because he changed his feeling about the snake by the end because he thought the stuffed snake was actually real. He is also dynamic and changes by not being confident and being scared of the snake.
  • The snake was a fake stuffed animal but in Harold's mind he brought it to life as a real snake. Harold thought the snake was so real that the snake was poisonous and it was going to kill him.
  • "All the while, the snake's head was still thrust forward. The head had not moved. Its eyes glared at the man. They were like electric sparks, throwing off sparkling needles of light."(100)
