Chapter 1 Summary In chapter one Gregor woke up and was in beetle form. He was on his back having issues getting out of his bed.
Chapter 2 Summary In chapter two, Gregor's sister was taking the furniture out of his room and he stayed on the wall on one of the pictures so that she would not take that one picture. Everything else was taken
Chapter 3 Summary In chapter three, everyone in the house as sick of Gregor and they scared him back into his room. Gregor was starving himself at this point and when the family woke up the maid found him dead.
In the book, Gregor turned into a beetle. The symbol behind him being a dung beetle was to represent how his family treated him. They all relied on him to bring in the money and none of them had jobs. He was basically their slave.
This book has a lot of expressionism in it. It has expressionism, because it shows how Gregor expressed himself as what he felt like to his family, a Dung beetle.
I think that Gregor was actually a dung beetle, because they described a lot of aspects that he did as a bugish action. It also doesn't make sense that if he died they would just throw his body out the window. He must have been a dung beetle.
