  • Act 1 Scene 1
  • When shall we three meet again, in thunder, lightning, or in rain?
  • That will be ere the set of sun
  • No more that Thane of Cawdor shall deceive our bosom interest. Go pronounce his present death, and with his former title, greet Macbeth

  • The three witches are planning to meet with Macbeth

  • Ross gets on knees and listens to King Duncan. King Duncan also rewards Macbeth as being the "Thane of Cawdor"

  • The three witches tell Macbeth and Banquo their prophecies
  • Act 1 Scene 6-7
  • Duncan tells Malcolm, his son, that he's gonna be the next king of Scotland
  • The messenger gives Lady Macbeth a letter from Macbeth about him becoming Thane of Cawdor and him meeting the three witches
  • King Duncan visits Macbeth's castle and is welcomed by Lady Macbeth. Macbeth is having a few problems with killing King Duncan, so he's reconsidering his plan to do it
