Jason is dealing with everyday life working at China Wok and dealing with a disgruntled customer that had ordered white rice instead of fried rice. He tries to exaplain to him that it was the end of the day and they had ran out.
Boxing? Are you crazy?

Jason goes to school very early to let off some steam. After he is done boxing he is confronted at school by coach and he is told about an opportunity to train with coach's friend Brandon. Jason excepts with some pride and later calls Brandon about the offer and he signs up for a amateur fighting competition.
Jason begins training with Brandon and is immediately overwhelmed with how much work it actually is. Brandon is pushing Jason close to his limit and then some. Jason cries a little bit like a baby to show how much pain he is in.
Jason gets into a fight with his dad because he told him that he has started training for a fighting match. His dad flips out and his mom completely understands. Jason later convinces his dad that it is for a good reason.
After Brandon dies in the car crash and the fight in one day Jason needed to get better prepared. So coach and Jake train him for the day.
Jason learns that he is fighting Mitchel Oguire. His arch enemy, he is being supported by people in the stadium because he is fighting for Brandon. The first round of the fight looks rough for Jason.
