Where are your leather apron and your ruler? What are you doing, wearing your best clothes? And you, sir, what’s your trade?
Go home, you lazy men. What, is today a holiday? there are no holidays for working men! what is your trade?
I'm a meander of worn soles,a cobbler.
I am a carpenter,sir.
But why aren’t you in your shop today? Why are you leading these men through the streets?
We took the day off to see Caesar, sir, and celebrate his triumph.
On February 15th,people were in their best clothes, celebrating the Lupercal feast and the victory of Caesar against Pompey.
Flavius and Murellus ,two government officials ,stopped two commoners and asked them about their trade.
Flavius asked them why they are in their best clothes celebrating?
