  • It says the cortical thickness increased in regions associated with sustaining attention and increasing awareness!
  • Also, this study shows how meditation strengthens the mind-wandering region, or posterior cingulate gyrus, and the executive control region or dorsolateral prefrontal cortex of the brain which decreases the amount of mind-wandering that naturally occurs!
