- During living in France Anna and Max attended school. They had to learn french which Anna found quite hard until one day when she found that she could just speak it almost fluently. Anna got very anxious because there was a examination coming up but she has no need to worry because she passed the certificat d `etudes and got some money and a letter for one of the twenty best French compositions written by a child from the mayor of Paris. Max was also honored by his school for being best pupil in class with the prix d`excellence.
- Anna's father had been inspired to write a film about Napoleon's mother after a conversation he had with Anna about him. He posted the script to many directors but none of them wanted to use it. Until finally an English director accepted it. So they moved to England.
- Mama, Papa, Anna and Max leave Paris after having lived there for two years. After a long and tiring journey by many modes of transport, they are greeted by English weather (rain) and cousin Otto who is Papa's cousin. He caught a cab for all of them and even though Anna is exhausted she feels lucky to be with all of her family. THE END
