A Midsummer Night's Dream: The Young Lovers
This storyboard does not have a description.
Young lovers, Hermia and Lysander, beg Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to allow them to marry even though it is against the wishes of Hermia's father, Egeus. Egeus wants his daughter to marry Demetrious, who is also in love with Hermia, but she refuses.
Hermia and Lysander plan to meet in the forest, so they can run away from Athens together. Hermia's friend, Helena, who is in love with Demetrious, is told the plan by her friend. Devastated by her broken heart, Helena devises a plan herself.
I will tell Demetrious of their plan, and he must go after them. Once he's in the forest, I will race after him and he won't have a choice but to fall in love with me!
