This is the story of a fish who gets made fun of for his unusually small size. But, he ends up making friends with the biggest fish, who also acts as his protector.

  • Hi I'm Harold! I'm a goldfish, but I'm a LOT smaller than the rest of the fish in the river.

  • He's smaller than a shrimp!
  • Oh look... it's little Harold.
  • Oh they're so mean to me! I wish I could live somewhere better! Like the OCEAN!!!

  • Yay! I made it! I'm so excited to make new friends.
  • The setting of this story is a river that leads to the ocean through quite the journey. The main character, Harold, is not exactly revered, just because of his unusually small size.

  • Harold feels differentiated against by the other fish in the river because they choose to ridicule him for his miniature stature.
  • Falling Action
  • Let's go explore!
  • So... Harold started on his journey and swam through the depths of the water and FINALLY made it to the ocean!
  • Resolution
  • As Harold approached the deep blue he began wandering when he found a shark and a dolphin who asked to be his friend. Harold was so excited to find friends who were genuinely kind towards him.
  • Sure! I would LOVE that!!!
  • You should be our friend!
  • Harold's new friends, Bruce and Aloha, offered to show him around the great big ocean. Knowing Harold's excitement, he automatically accepted.
  • In the end, Harold moved to the ocean and found friends who accepted him the way he was...  And they lived happily ever after!
