  • Abigail wrote a letter to James Madison
  • I really missed my son, can I have a look of him? 
  • Nabby died
  • My heart broke~~~
  • Abigail and John were back to Peacefield and ran a farm with their grandchildren except Quincy's child.
  • The war of 1812 began 
  • We shouldn't trigger the war against England. 
  • We should declare the war toward the England!
  • Abigail wrote a letter to James Madison and wanted her son Quincy back home because he was in Russia. However, James told her he could not bring him back unless Quincy himself was willing to.
  • Abigail and John's wedding anniversary 
  • Oh, my dear!
  • Because of breast cancer, Nabby died. Abigail's heart broke.
  • Abigail got typhoid fever and died

  • In October 1818 Abigail got typhoid fever. She told John and others by her bedside that she didn't want to live longer if she wasn't useful. Then, she died on October 28 at age seventy-three.
