  • John Quincy became the sixth president of US
  • I am so proud of you!
  • John Adams died 
  • I am dying. 
  • Abigail died at age seventy-three. John, her "dearest friend", wished he could die with her. 
  • Abigail was satisfied with her son's achievement
  • My son and husband are both presidents! So proud!
  • A little over six years after Abigail died, her son John Quincy Adams became the sixth president of the United States. John, his father, was joyful. 
  • Women were fighting for rights
  • Women should have rights!
  • Although John wished to die with Abigail, he dies after eight years to age ninety.
  • Women get the rights to engage the election 
  • Today,we, women got the rights to vote! 
  • Abigail was very proud of being the wife of one president and the mother of another. 
  • During mid 19th century to 20th century, women were fighting for their rights of property and education.
  • In 1920, the Constitution passed the law that women have equal political rights as men to engage in an election. It granted Abigail's wish during her whole lifetime.
