  • The Pearl

  • Kino and his family start to wake up in there straw house. Which is located in a tribal village, it's a calm start to the morning. And without a lot of money to use, So Juana (Kino's wife) starts to make corn cakes. Kino is content with his way of life.
  • Exposition
  • Rising action takes place when the scorpion is noticed by Juana climbing down the side of Coyotito's crib. Unfortunately when KIno tries to get rid of the scorpion it ends up stinging Coyotitio. Juana thinks it's best if they bring him to the doctor. But the doctor refuses to help because they don't have money. 
  • Rising Action
  • The climax starts when they find the pearl and their luck goes to good because the baby is better and they're rich which turned to to really bad. They eventually end up killing a man and have to go on the run. They then head for the capital to sell the pearl.  
  • Climax
  • The falling action starts when. Three hunters catch their trail and start to follow them they then head up the mountain to try and lose them. But they didn't lose them. The hunters take a brake and Kino prepares to attack.
  • Falling Action
  • Coyotito starts to cry which almost gibes them away but the hunters think it's just a coyote and fires the rifle. Kino then attacks the hunters and kills all three of them. He then realizes that the first shot killed Coyotito. Kino and Juana goes back to the village and throws the pearl back in the ocean. 
  • Resolution
