The Garment Factory, March 25, 1911
In the building there are three people waiting for their paycheck. Aberstein, Rose, and Astrosky. Aberstein was smoking a cigarette.
There were many theories that conclude what may have caused the fire, but these are the main two we focused on.
The cigarette dropped by Aberstein causes a fire. The fire eats through the wooden oily floors. The workers then try to escape.
The fire starting at the top floor works its way down. The terrible condition and treatment of the building makes it hard to escape. Aberstein and Astrosky seem to make it out alive, while Rose is left to die.
Because the manager Max Blanck was so negligent of the workers and the events that lead to the fire the workers report him. Now in court Blanck is sentenced to life in Jail, also new laws were passed to prevent future accidents.
