Storyboard Text

  • Today we are going to learn about camera shots. In each image, we'll look at a different way of shooting a picture.
  • Hi, I'm in a wide angle shot. We use this to show the scene - the big picture, if you like. You can barely see me - Because I'm not the most important part of the shot right now.
  • This is a Mid Shot - it's putting me in context - the background isn't as visible, and I'm more important now
  • This is an over the shoulder shot - It's like playing in a 3rd person shooter - it means you can see what the character can see.
  • This is a two head shot - used for conversations. We could be next to each other, facing the camera, or we could combine it with an over the shoulder shot like this
  • this is a close up. If it was so zoomed in you could see nothing but my face, it'd be an extreme close up
