  • The year is 1800. Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr have concluded the presidential election in a tie. It's up to the House of Representatives to decide the 3rd president.
  • Welcome and thank you for coming. today we must decide who will become the nations 3rd president. Alexander Hamilton?
  • Thomas Jefferson should be president. Aaron Burr is unfit to run. Jefferson has the experience. 
  • Why should Thomas Jefferson be president? You always fought with him on how to run the country
  • Yes but at least he knows what to do and has goals. Aaron has no beliefs and doesn't know what to do.
  • Aaron is loved by the public. He went door to door to promote his candidacy.
  • Exactly why Jefferson should be president. He knows that you don't need to go door to door to promotes. He has the experience from serving under John Adams and being the principle author of the Declaration of Independence.

  • The results are in. Jefferson 10 and Burr 4. It looks like Jefferson is the third president of the United States!!! Running under him is Aaron Burr!
