  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • George and Hazel Bergeron is watching TV at their house. George has a handicap and Hazel and George try to talk with each other.
  • Falling Action
  • Harrison Bergeron (George and Hazel's son) escapes from jail. Harrison goes to to a ballerina dance and crowns himself emperor and asks if anyone wanted to be his empress.
  • Resolution
  • Harrison and his new empress dance around feeling weightless without all the things on them. Harrison and his empress gets shot and dies instantly.
  • Conflict
  • The handicap general demands the other people to get their transmitters back in their ears. On the television Hazel watches her kid die but doesn't know why she is crying later on.
  • Harrison and his empress is dead and everything goes back to the way it was with the handicaps.
  • The conflict is Man vs. Society. One reason that it is Man vs. Society is Harrison fights the government in their 212, 213, and 214 amendments. Harrison believes that the people should be able to do what they want to do and be as they were.
