My freshman year of high school I knew Devan and Alicia existed but I didn't necessarily talk to them. I had a different group of friends and so did they. One day that all changed though. I got in a huge fight with my friends at the time because I was tired of the feeling they gave me. I moved across the cafeteria and began my new friendship with Devan and Alicia.
Sounds good to me!
After sitting with them for a few weeks, I started to consider them my best friends. We started to hang out after school together, throw parties together, and really become each other's supporters. Yet, there is still one thing I can't figure out, even four years later: who is my best friend?
I don't get why you have an attitude all the time.
You both should shut up.
Alicia and I spend our friendship in a very different way than I spend my friendship with Devan. Alicia and I are the type of people that would rather stay in the comfort of our own homes rather than going out and being in public. We take naps almost every day, and we are very big Netflix watchers. We are very content with staying home and just being in each others company.
You're my best friends.
However, Devan and I have a friendship where we like to be out and about. We like to go get food at random places; we like to go to parks; we like to drive around in Devan's car. When were together, we end up spending unnecessary money on unnecessary things. We are bad influences on each other.
Although, Alicia, Devan and I don't hang out all together that often. When we do we get into a lot of arguments, because all of our attitudes are through the roof. Sometimes we can all hang out and have a good time, and those are days that we all love.
Because you make me mad.
Despite the attitudes and the differences in friendships Devan and Alicia are my best friends. I could never choose one of them, due to the fact that they both contribute to different parts in my life, and I love them too much to ever choose between them.
