  • On October 2, 1835 the battle began. The Mexican leader Colonel Agartechea and 100 Mexican Soldiers fought Colonel John Moore and 160 Texan volunteers. Texans defeated the Mexicans and colonists became enthusiastic about outbreak of war with Mexico.
  • Independence
  • In the Consultation of 1835 a meeting of representatives of Texas discussed escalating friction with Mexico and consider options for more autonomous rule for Texas.
  • Battle of San Jacinto 
  • The battle of the Alamo was for independence from Mexico. 200 volunteers soldiers, including James Bowie, William Travis and Davy Crockett, who defended the Alamo from a Mexican force of thousands. Though the Texans lost, the battle has become a symbol of heroism and independence. 
  • Treaty of Velasco
  • When The Texans Captured Santa Anna he gave an offer that he would give Texas Independence for his life and that day Texas got independence. 
  • Texians fight for there beloved ones that died at the Alamo and for their independence from Mexico so texians attack the Mexicans for their independence. Texians win and get their independence from Mexico.
  • The treaties of velasco were two documented signed at Velasco, Texas on May, 14, 1836. Signed by Santa Anna
