  • On March 30, 1870, the United States of America adopted the 15th Amendment.
  • You shall not be discriminated against when you vote!
  • April 1870
  • I just got news that the 15th Amendment was adopted!
  • Welcome African-Americans!
  • We can finally vote and help make America's Choices!
  • I'm glad we helped the North and finally are getting our rights.
  • We are finally people!
  • Even after all these voting laws and rights, women still couldn't vote. States also attempted to still not allow African-Americans to vote until the Voting Rights act of 1965
  • You can't Vote!!
  • 1877 Presidential Election Rutherford B. Hayes- Republican Samuel J. Tilden- Democrat
  • The First state to ratify the amendment was Nevada in 1869 The last state to ratify the amendment was Tennessee in 1997!
