  • Driving in certain weather conditions can be very dangerous.

  • It is important to follow the following tips and cautions, while driving in certain weather conditions.
  • •Decrease your speed, and leave plenty of room to stop. •Brake gently to avoid skidding. •Always use your lights. •Don’t use cruise control. •Avoid puddles and be careful on icy bridges. •Never assume your vehicle is invulnerable to the weather.
  • •Check the ignition, brakes, wiring, hoses, and fan belts. •Check the air, fuel, and emission filters, and the PVC valve. •Make sure your battery is charged. •Check the tires for air, sidewall wear, and tread depth. •Check antifreeze levels and freeze line. •These checks should be made every time before a long trip. •About once a week for every day use.
