  • On What River: Indus River
  • Introduction:
  • Homes: The walls of these houses were thick to keep cool during the summer.
  • Windows: There were also no windows facing out onto the main street and if there were any windows, they would have grilles. This is to keep out dust.
  • Piping: The Indus Valley had one of the first irrigation systems
  • Pipes: The pipes were made of terracotta and lined with limestone to prevent leaking
  • Bathing: People will bathe in the morning before entering a temple or religious site
