"To Build a Fire" by Jack London Rubin Langley 6th period 12/5/18
Be on the look out for my usual funny side comment.
The man is very survival based. Pepper is going along with the man. They both want to go home.
The man is walking back to camp. The man is getting extremely cold. The man makes a fire.
The mood of the story "To Build a Fire" is fear or survival. The tone of the story is what I felt to be loneliness or fear of being alone. I liked this story because it shows what not to do in a survival situation
The man fails to make a fire. The man tries to make another fire. after failing again, he makes a mad run for nothing.
The man gives up hope and lays down to die. Before he does, he imagines him finding his dead body. Pepper leaves the dead body to find warmth.
That's me, Rubin. Or, close enough to it. And now, time for my usual funny side comment. ;)
