On Thursday, the Disciples prepared the Pass Over Meal. It was called the last supper, as Jesus new he would die.
That night, the Disciples and Jesus celebrated their final meal together. Jesus then shared the bread and the wine among the disciples and said, "Do this in memory of me, for this is my body and blood, which will be given out for you.
Jesus went to pray in the Garden of Gethsemane. Here he was arrested by Roman Soldiers.
He was then taken to Pontius Pilate, and sentenced to be crucified. Jesus carried his heavy cross all the way up the mountain.
At the top, he was tied and nailed to the cross. Jesus was raised into the sky, hanging on the cross. That night, The Lord Jesus died. He was stabbed through the side of his body to make sure he was dead.
In the morning, He was taken down, and wrapped in a cloth. Jesus was carried to a tomb and laid to rest.
