  • Inspired by Born on the Fourth of July by Ron Kovic, here he is joining the United States Marines Corps to fight against the communists in Vietnam.
  • We're going to Vietnam and we're going after those communists now do you understand me?!
  • Sir yessir!

  • The French begins its colonial rule over Vietnam. Here is a snippet inspired by The Quiet American by Graham Greene to emphasize how the French culture had influenced the Vietnamese citizens.
  • Vietnam's poverty was so bad that children would beg the United States Marines for money on the streets.
  • This is cruel...
  • No! No money!
  • Because of Ho Chi Minh declaring independence on Vietnam, Vietnam's troops fought against the United States and the French, causing thousands of people to die.
  • The orange poison in the sky poisoined all of us. Including our children. The bombs in the sky destroyed our homes. We couldn't tell if it was the United States or the French.
  • Agent Orange, a poison used on the citizens of Vietnam, affected many civilians. Bombings by the U.S caused families to lose their loved ones and their homes.
  • U.S. Forces are to be repealed from the Vietnam war. This war is over!
  • After Nixon was elected president, he repealed U.S. forces and Saigon fell to the communists.
