To expand the rights of the Parliament and people, while limiting the powers of the king. What were they trying to accomplish? Free elections to parliament.   • Who wrote the document? The pilgrims. When did they write it? 1620. Why did they write this? To solve a basic problem. What were they trying to accomplish? Create own government, everyone follow same rules, and make sure the new government will serve the common good.
