Storyboard Text

  • Tom introduces himself and his story in an interview, sitting. It's a close shot of his upper body and of a computer screen in an office. Interviewer speaks, unseen, first and asks him a question. Tom can't hear him and the interviewer gives him a piece of paper with a question. Tom answers in a dramatic voice and has a flashback while retelling the story.
  • This is my story:
  • Flashback shows Tom's work as a medieval actor. The actors are happy and interacting while Tom has a voice over about how normal his day was going.
  • When Tom was preforming, a speaker from the set fell next to him. When it landed it let out an ear piecing sound that made his ears bleed.
  • *ambulance sounds* Tom is rushed to a hospital and a doctor with a clip board asks him questions about hearing noises and sounds. The doctor tells him that he has a hearing loss. Tom can't hear him. (Ambulance scene probably done in a red wagon)
  • The camera goes back to Tom in the office. He is dramatic and starts to share about how he was affected in his next coming jobs.
  • This is how I was affected.
  • Tom's voice over starts, and he shares how he was affected at his fast food job. he shares that he was unhappy. The sound from the scene comes in and Tom asks what a customer wants. The customer responds and he can't hear them. He then gets fired from that job.
  • Welcome. What can I get you to eat?
