Storyboard Text

  • "How dare she go around pretending to be as beautiful as I?"
  • "Too beautiful for her own safety, poor girl."
  • Aphrodite first saw Psyche and got jealous of her beauty. She wanted to cast a spell on her with her son's (Eros) arrow to make her fall in love with someone very ugly.
  • Eros went to the castle to cast the spell and after he did, he accidentally scratched himself with the arrow. Psyche woke up and the first thing she saw was him so that's who she fell in love with. Eros decided that as long as the spell went on, he wouldn't do any more business with love.
  • After awhile of there being no love in the world, Aphrodite finally gave in and let eros take the spell away that imprisoned her with a hedge of thorns. Psyche then got ready for her "wedding" and said goodbye to her family as she waited.
  • "Everything is gone!!"
  • Zephyrus (the groom's messenger) came and he made her be lifted off the mountain and sailed her through the sky to another castle with invisible servants and her invisible husband who only comes at night to talk to her briefely.
  • The invisible husband invites Pysche's sisters over to the castle to see her. After awhile, they start doubting him. Psyche gets upset and then her sisters leave. At night, she sneeks in her husband's room and finds out that he is Eros. Then everything disappears and Eros is gone.
  • There are many rumors about what happened to Eros and Psyche next.
