Paris France 1870, Monsieur loisel Brought home an invitation to his wife, Matilda Loisel, for a party where many of the Grand people will show.
Even though Madame Want to go to the Party, she breaks down crying because she has nothing to wear, so her husband gave her 400 froncs, that he was going to use to buy a rifle, to get her a dress
Later in the story Madame starts to complain once again that she had no jewelry to match her and the gown, say that she will be ugly if she doesn't have some jewelry, so she boroad a "diamond" necklace to wear to the party from her friend.
After Getting home From the Part Madame Loisel realized that the necklace she boroad was not around her neck.
The looked everywhere for the necklace, for weeks, yet still no luck, they decided to just replace it, so they ran around the city looking for a replacement, they found one, for 30,000, The monsieur got several loans putting them in massive dept.
They paid off the dept, but were now in the lower class of society
