Right before school, it started raining. The science class of children will each have to pick out a leaf and study it.
Warm water evaporated from this meander, which lead into precipitation.
Today's Goals: Go behind the school, and pick a few leaves and on thursday we will examine them.
Of Course, It just rained and we are going outside?
Yup *Eyes Roll*
Seems likes a good leaf right here, it is also wet from the water so im sure it was in the process of transpiration!
All of the kids went back inside and took their leaves out of their jar to examine them.
The water on this plant is from the clouds, condensation specifically.
The formation of water goes through a cycle called The Water Cycle.
This water and leaf unfortunately made contact with a human, me...
The form of precipitation on the plant is a liquid, if the water ever made contact with say car exhaust, it would be absorbed into the water droplet, and once it reaches the plant, It will most likely die,
The cycle starts off with evaporation, which occurs when the water is warm. The water evaporates into the sky which then leads to condensation.
The cycle keeps happening, all the time.
Water condensates in the sky , where the water also loses heat energy, water collects in the sky which leads into precipitation
Precipitation is water produced from the sky as rain, snow, sleet or hail. The heat energy is cooled.
