Storyboard Text

  • Sea world has always appeared to be a fun place to go, and family's always have fun there. But, has sea world tried to cover up the turth about 3 human deaths, and the how the whales really feel?
  • Whales that are held in captivity are in a big tank.  The tank may look huge to us, but to the whale it is like living in a bathtub. If you lived in a bathtub for years, and only got fed if you did a trick, would you might attack someone keeping you there?
  • When whales are taken to parks they are separated from their pods, or family's and flew in a plane to a big tub to spend the rest of their lives,  and also used to be breed with orca's from different cultures.
  • Orca whales that are taken from their natural habitat are not only put in small containers but forced to perform tricks in front of huge crowds. Also suffer broken teeth, kidney disease, pneumonia, infection, and west Nile virus.
  • Sea World claims that all whales in captivity would not survive in the wild because thay have been "cared for" all their lives. This is true, but the should not be allowed to breed, or capture any more whales.
  • Finally, this environment is not good for the whales. . 100% of captive whales have collapsed dorsal fins. 1% of wild whales have collapsed dorsale fins.
