  • DESDEMONA Role/Relationship to other characters: Desdemona is the daughter of Brabantio and the  wife of Othello. Her attendent is Iago's wife Emelia. Traits: Major Conflicts: Other Notes:
  • Othello Role/Relationship to other characters: Othello is the general for the Duke. His wife is Desdemona. He has problems with Brabantio for being a moor. His lieutenant is Michael Cassio and his ensign  is the decieving Iago. Traits: Major Conflicts: Other Notes:
  • Iago Role/Relationship to other characters: Iago is the antagonist of the play. His is the husband of Emilia and the ensign/ancient of Othello.  He pretends to like Othello but hates him for being a moor and plots his downfall Traits: Major Conflicts: Other Notes:
  • Michael Cassio Role/Relationship to other characters: Cassio is the lietenant of Othello. Iago frames Cassio for sleeping with Desdemona demoting his position.  Traits: Major Conflicts: Other Notes:
  • Roderigo Role/Relationship to other characters: Roderigo is one of the men who went to Cyprus with Othello, Iago, Cassio etc. Roderigo is mostly used for Iagos malicious plans to gain power. Traits: Major Conflicts: Other Notes:
  • Brabantio Role/Relationship to other characters: Brabantio is the father of Desdemona. Their relationship was broken when he found out she married a moor. He is respected in his city and gets along with the Duke.  Traits: Major Conflicts: Other Notes:
