Storyboard Text

  • People feared the God of the Dead. Hades. He was feared by almost everyone and that resulted in him becoming one of the loneliest and sad people in Greek Mythology. He had no wife, friends, or family that liked him.
  • While Hades is sulking Hermes is guiding the dead souls to the underworld
  • They would later meet Charon would they would have to pay to send them across the river to the pauper's entrance.
  • Instead of of trying to get a wife. He decided to kidnap the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. She was picking flowers one meadow by herself, although she is usually always with her mother. When Hades revealed himself from the ground and took her.
  • Once Persephone arrived she was filled with sadness. There were no flowers to pick, no sunshine, and dead souls surrounded the two of them. Hades on the other hand looked the same.
  • Your world is going to look like this forever if Persephone doesn't come back!
  • Demeter went on a search for her daughter as a elderly woman. The grass and sky turned gray as she was filled with grief and her harvesting energy has no power. She found out from a youth that her daughter was kidnapped by Hades. She asked the Sun, then Zeus to help her. Zeus agreed and sent Hermes to save her,.
  • Persephone was saved. However she ate the food of the dead while on her way out. So she still has to visit Hades in the winter. At least Demeter and Persephone were reunited,
