The Lost colony of Roanoke Island
This storyboard does not have a description.
Arrival at Roanoke
Colony from August to October
After John White leaves...
The colonists went to Roanoke by boat with 117 people on April 26 of 1587. They started from Portsmouth, England to the new world. They had a main goal to establish a new colony by the bay in Chesapeake.
From the resource wikipida life was very free feeling. Even though john White was a strict leader. People were also always doing work and heloing.
One scenario I strongly agree with is that they left to corotoan island because they wrote it on a tree and john white told them to write there destination on a tree if they go. I also agree with A hurricane because everything was gone and I think they would leave something behind. I could also agree with the native amaericans taking over or killing them because bones were found.
