  • Falling Action
  • One day the Cullens invited Bella out to play baseball but got interrupted by human-eating vampires that showed interest in Bella. • Bella had to come up with a plan to make sure Charlie believed she wasn’t missing so decided to act like she was going back to Phoenix. Bella said “ I can’t do this anymore! I can’t put down any more roots here!” (19. 393). As Bella left and was safe she got a call by the human eating vampire telling her to meet him without telling anyone or he would hurt her mother so she went.
  • Since Bella went to go meet the human-eating vampire she got bitten by him and he left poison in her leaving Edward worried she would become a vampire. Edward had no choice then to take the venom out of her but he was scared he would want to drink her blood and not be able to control it. " "Carlisle, I.." Edward hesitated. "I don't know if I can do that" (455. 20).
  • Edward successfully took the poison out and Bella was able to heal in time for her prom. As Edward and Bella danced outside under the stars they confessed their love for each other and Edward kissed Bella. " And he leaned down to press his cold lips once more to my throat" (498. 25).
