  • Conflict First Appears
  • Rising Action
  • The people of the town are gathered on June 27th when the lottery is about to happen. This picture shows how everyone is in the town preparing for the lottery
  • Climax
  • The lottery is about to start and they are checking if everybody is there.
  • Falling Action
  • The Hutchinson family draws the "lucky ticket" and Mrs. Hutchinson objects and says that Bill did not get a fair draw.
  • Resolution
  • Mrs. Hutchinson draws the paper with the big black dot on it so she has won the lottery.
  • The people of the town gather up all of the stones and rocks and begin to throw them at Mrs. Hutchinson.
  • Mrs. Hutchinson eventually dies and the  town goes back to normal
