- She will not stay the siege of loving terms...
- The Chorus explains the story, giving us details about the characters and the plot.
- Direct my sail. On, lusty gentlemen!
- In his bedroom, Romeo is sobbing his eyes out from heartbreak over Rosaline.
- Oh, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!
- Romeo gives up on loving Rosaline, as she refuses to be charmed by his compliments.
- My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand...
- Later in the evening, Romeo, Mercutio, and Benvolio enter the Capulet Mansion where the party is being held.
- Romeo sees Juliet at the party, and instantly forgets all about Rosaline.
- Romeo admits that he is in love to Juliet, and begs her to kiss him.
