Hi, I'm John. I work in a dead end, 9-5 job. I rarely get out to exercise. I haven't see my kids in a week and my boss makes me work extra over time hours
When I get off work it is often too late and I am too tired to go for a run or go for a bike ride. My health is deteriorating and my doctor says that if I dont improve my habits soon it will be extremely detrimental to my health
When I'm at home, I struggle with alcoholism as well as insomnia and anxiety. I feel like I have no support groups as well as reliable friends. The neighbors do not let me sleep very well because they are noisy.
About once every two weeks I play soccer with my friends but it does not seem to be enough. As well the park is dangerous, we often find needles and such.
As well, the neighborhood is very dangerous to outside at night in. Last week a person was killed over a drug deal. Sadly it is one of the only neighborhoods I can afford at the moment.
In conclusion, a combination of working conditions, living conditions, exercise opportunities as well as neighborhood my physical environments are detrimental to my health.
