  • Frederick Douglass the bravest slave there was. He lived on a slave plantation called Mr.Covey's plantation. Frederick was a slave who fought his slave master. After Mr.Covey's  worked Frederick to point of exhaustion on the fields, and after being worked so hard Frederick became very ill. But Mr.Covey's wanted Frederick to still work.  So then, Frederick leaves the plantation and travels to the woods, and finds another slave named Sandy, and Sandy gives Frederick this magic root to beat the terrible slave master. Then the next day later, Frederick comes back to fight Mr.Covey's. The fight between the slave master Mr.Covey's, and the slave Frederick Douglass.  After the fight was over, Frederick Douglass won the fight. Also after the fight Frederick Douglass was no longer touched by the terrible monster "Mr.Covey". But after this, which is a few days later Mr.Covey's decides to send Frederick off to another plantation called Mr. Freeland's slave plantation. Soon while Douglass is there on the plantation he meets other slaves.
  • Frederick Douglass finally gets to another plantation called Mr.Freeland's. Frederick was surprised of the actions of the slave master Mr.Freeland's.  Mr.Freeland's was not as bad, as Mr.Covey but he still owned slaves and still worked them like slaves. Once Frederick gets there, he started to get the idea of wanting to becoming free man and escape from the South. Frederick wanted to feel what it was like to be just a free as those kids that knew English, they went to school had an education, and could speak English very fluently. Frederick didn’t want to be a slave anymore. In the South is where most of the slavery was happening.  So while Frederick was on the plantation he met friends who also wanted to have the same freedom and escape from the South. One of the friends name were Henry. But when they were talking and planning on how to escape. They also worried about what, would happen if they got caught trying to escape from the South.
  • Frederick Douglass did convince his slave friends in escaping. But they still worried what would happen if they got caught. So  Frederick and friends got together, and thought of ways to escape they. The escape plan was to steal a Canoe from Mr.Hamilton's. Once the slaves got their hands on the Canoe they would start heading towards the north star, to escape. But one the friends asked what if we got caught. Frederick answered this question with a determind voice.  "I will make fake protections cards, so if we get caught we had the cards to protect us."
