  • Fighting on home grounds
  • They'll never see me behind this tree.
  • Good decisions by commanding generals
  • Here try this, instead of that.
  • Thanks good decision.
  • Patriotism
  • I will fight for this country until I am free.
  • Since the colonist was fighting on home grounds it was easier to use the guerrilla warfare which is to sneak attack on the enemy
  • They were untrained and unorganized
  • Which way am I going again?
  • George Washington was not great on commanding the colonists on what to do but he did know what the British could be doing which gave the colonists a head start on training, and Washington also encouraged the colonists a lot so that it would give them confidence.
  • Shortage of men
  • Do you think we'll win a battle with 50 against 200?
  • There were many colonists who were willing to fight for this country to gain independence for their liberty, homes, children, families, and friends.
  • Shortage of supplies
  • Sorry, we don't have anything anymore.
  • Can I get one of everything?
  • Since most of the people in the Continental Army were ordinary people they had no idea how to be a soldier.
  • Since there wasn't a lot of men it was always hard to get stuff done because people would just leave.
  • The Continental Army was running short of supplies it became difficult around the time they would go to battle.
