I loved the man! I think it was the eye that was the problem. He had the eye of a vulture.
The story begins with a man trying to convince the reader that he is not crazy. He is known to be a young man who loved the old man that had given him the home he lives in, but does not like his eye.
The young man goes into the man with the vulture eye's room for a week trying to find a chance to take the eye, freeing him of the troubles the eye gives him.
The climax is when the young man kills the old man. When he went into the room, the old man noticed him. He didn't sit back down so the man went up to him and killed him.
Scariest Part of the Story
In the falling action, the killer admits to the deed. He thinks he can hear the heart of the dead man. He cracks under the guilt and tells the police where to find the body.
Thump Thump...Thump Thump
It was me! I admit to the deed! Tear up the planks! Here! Here!
In the end the man is put into jail. After he admitted and the body was found he was put into a prison where he regretted his decision.
In my opinion the scariest part is when the old man is killed. The killer uses a mattress, but I couldn't get the bed frame to stay and the mattress disappear. It just looked better to put the pillow.
