Storyboard Text

  • What do you think they mean that pathogens are passing barriers.
  • Today we will be announcing how the immune system pathogens are passing barriers.
  • Well as pathogens get past your bodies barrier, antigens in the pathogens trigger you bodies immune system.
  • T cells are identifying pathogens and carrying out immune response. But how do they do that?
  • Macrophages are breaking down pathogens and they are carrying out immune responses
  • Well macrophages engulf the pathogens and break them down that's when phages present antigens from the pathogens to T cells. That's how they carry out responses.
  • T cells and B cells are multiplying. B cells are responding to pathogens.
  • T cells also signal B cells to begin responding to the pathogen.
  • T cells that identified pathogens divide and multiply.
