Scarlet Red was very annoyed that her mother would send her out so late at night just for a gallon of milk!
This is such a waste of time!
On her way to the store, Scarlet bumped into her with the strange, orange hair. He rushed up to her to ask why she's upset, and Scarlet explained.
Is everything okay, Little Red?
No, sir! Life is awful! Utterly awful!
Scarlet started to cry about how she is so lonely at home, and how her single mother is giving her a hard time. This led the man into a deep thought.
It is ever so lonely at home, sir! Just me and mother!
So, is her mother home alone?
The two remembered each other as next door neighbors. This excited the orange hair man, and he rushed along back where Scarlet came from. This left Scarlet confused as to why he was in such a rush...
I must be going!
I live in the small, red house, sir.
Scarlet rushed as quick as she could to grab the milk from the store, worrying that she put her mother in danger. She grew more nervous and scared as she approached her red home. Something in her mind was telling her that the orange hair man was up to no good!
I hope Mother isn't in danger!
Scarlet Red was angry, but not surprised to find her mother's bedroom a complete mess. Her mother was nowhere in sight. However, she did find a familiar, thin orange hair on the bed. The man had left the first clue to finding Scarlet's mom.
