It was another day at school, and the Marty was ready to begin. The morning announcements rang throughout the school reading the daily bulletin.
Good morning, students. Remember that religion is banned at school and any form of expression is against school rules.
Marty and his friends sat down on seats divided by race.
Good morning students, today's lesson is ...
This is wrong! It shouldn't matter where we sit.
It was just another day, but Marty thought that everything was wrong. He felt that his friends didn't have the freedom that they should've had. It was a free country after all, he thought.
I want to sit with my friends
This was not the first time Marty had had these thoughts, but if Marty expressed his thoughts out loud, however, he would be taken somewhere to be questioned. This was a free country, but there were consequences for your actions.
I believe that I should have the freedom of speech.
All forms of free speech are banned.
Marty said something that he shouldn't have and soon the SWAT team descended on him to take him away.
Luckily, Marty woke up just in time because everything was a dream all along.
So I can be a free American with the freedom of expression.
Whew!!! That was a dream all along. I'm lucky that the Bill of Rights exist.
