  • Proclamation of 1763The proclamation was met to protect Native Americans in the West and to forbid colonists for settling West of the Proclamation line. Although, the outcome of the event led to angry colonists.

  • Sugar & Stamp ActThe Sugar Act lowers taxes on molasses, made it easier to put smugglers on trial and revise other taxes. The Stamp Act placed new taxes on legal documents and all items had to have a stamp to show taxes were payed. Both of these acts led to protests from the colonists.
