Sugar & Stamp ActThe Sugar Act lowers taxes on molasses, made it easier to put smugglers on trial and revise other taxes. The Stamp Act placed new taxes on legal documents and all items had to have a stamp to show taxes were payed. Both of these acts led to protests from the colonists.
