  • Theocracy is a system of government in which priests rule in the name or the Lord, a god, or gods. In theocracy power rests with the religious authority who may or may not give their citizens equal freedom.

  • A direct democracy is a form of government where citizens determine how the country works. Citizens have the right to not only elect representatives, but also to vote on policy issues.
  • Monarchy
  • A dictatorship is a form of government where the citizens are in the hands of one individual with full authority to create any laws they desire. The rights of citizens are usually suppressed in order to maintain the power og the government.
  • Anarchy
  • An oligarchy is a government where a small group of people have control over a country and its citizens. However, the citizens are not allowed to ever vote!
  • A monarchy, a king or queen, ' a monarch ', rules over the people. Some monarchies have held all of the power, while others have shared their power with other branches of government. The office is automatically passed down as a family inheritance.
  • An anarchy is the states without the government. An anarchy is typically characterized by violence and disorder. Anarchy it is a belief that governance is a form of commanding people and that ant government must be abolished.
